Yes - the spreadsheet has formulas and macros in them. All cells with formulas have been locked therefore there you don't have to worry about accidentally erasing them
I get paid bi-weekly/weekly. Does the tool accomodate this?
Yes - for each month there are four red tabs.; this is to accomodate the different pay schedules. If you get paid monthly, input your income in the first tab, if its bi-weekly, the first two tabs and its its monthly, all four tabs. In 5 week month, you will have to consolidate the salaries for the last two weeks.
Is there a user guide for the tool?
Yes - its on the first tab of the spreadsheet
Is there a video on how to use the budgeting tool?
Not yet, but this will be coming soon!
Can I add more rows for my expenses?
Yes - simply click the button at the top left hand side of the page and it will add expense rows for each quarter. For example, if you click Q1, it will generate extra expense lines for January, February & March
Can I add more pots?
Yes. There are default 4 pots however you can add 5 more in the spreadsheet (more details in the tool)
How do I assign Pots?
You do this through the Savings Tab. Each table (except general savings which is the first table) has space at the top of the pot to name the pot. This will automatically feed into every month of the expense tab. Once you assign the name, assign the amount you would like to save and the time frame you would like to do this in. For example, the above pot "Emergency Pot" has the goal of saving £3000 over 12 month period
